Mike “In The Night” nació en San
Juan, Puerto Rico de padres
cubanos. En 1983 comenzó su
carrera radial en el mercado del sur
de la Florida a los 18 años. En el
1986 tuvo el placer de entrevistar a
Héctor Lavoe (RIP). Mike no es solo
locutor, es también productor e
ingeniero de sonido.
En su estudio a grabado muchos
artitas americanos y latinos, y a
hecho muchos remixes como “Hielo”
de Willy Chirino (2005). Pero en 1995
Mike y su socio escribieron y
produjeron el Hit #1 Macarena (
Bayside Boys Mix ) por Los Del Río.
Esta es la segunda canción que ha
estado más semanas en el primer
lugar de los Hot 100 de Billboard (14
semanas) en la historia de la música
anglo sajona. También es miembro
votante del Recording Academy del
los Grammy .
