| First and foremost Thank you for visiting my site. I've been in this business since 1976 palying records ( remember those ?) at parties,concerts, nightclubs and of course radio stations. This site is dedicated to all of you who have supported me throughout the years weather you were hustling to France Joli, Sylvester,Love and Kisses or you were Freestyling to Stevie B,George LaMond,and Planet Patrol, Salsa Dancing to Hansel y Raul, Conjunto Universal, or Willy Chirino we were there together. In 1991 I was the resident DJ at Alcazaba,Gabriel's and Club Mystique at the airport Hilton.It was during those years that The " Cheif " Raymond Hernandez, La Covacha DJ Gil Rodriguez and Myself first came up with the idea of BEAT MIXING Latin music ( check out Salsa Mix on Wikipedia ) . In 1995 Jesus Salsa Program Director for the new Tropical Station EL ZOL 95 heard me doing my mixes during a live broadcast at Baja Beach club in Ft. Lauderdale and gave me my first break on the radio along with my friend DJ Crazy J together along with the late Julio Jr. we created the nation's first Tropical Mix Show " EL MIX EN VIVO " on Saturday afternoons. It immediately shot to number one in our time slot. A few years later Legendary Miami Radio Personality Leo Vela enabled The Cheif and myself to become the first Hispanic On Air Radio mixers with a radio contract. The five to eight pm mix became a local sensation and ran for 3 years on the Hispanic Broadcasting Station ( HBC )on the now defunct but Legendary SALSA 98.3 FM under the direction of Leo Vela. The Clubs continued Kaffe Krystal, Mezzanote, Club 609 in the Grove, Valentinos,St.Croix,Gemini,Bungalow 9,Paladium Nightclub,Coco locos,Radius, Iguana Beach Place and Pembroke Pines, Flow Lounge in the Gables ,Splendido,Habana 1900 if they had Latin Music I was there. In 2005 I was offered a Classic Disco Mix Show on Clasica 92.3 FM playing club hits from the 70s,something I have always incoorporated in my shows. All along though I've always been a fixture at Alcazaba in Coral Gables, and you guys have always been there for me dancing and supporting all the new and old music. So Anyway, Enjoy the site .
